Celebration Day!!

Woo Hooo I've finished year 12!!!!!!
For our last day at school we don't call it 'muck up day' but 'celebration day!' lol
Our theme this year was cowboys and indians! We had lots of fun doing random things around the school and some of my friends aluminium foiled the teachers offices...which included Daile's!

Slog to Sale!!

Well on the 4th of October 118 riders set out from Pakenham to Sale on their bikes!!
The weather was quite cool with a few showers in the early morning however all the riders did a fantastic job! I'm always amazed by the 'elite' riders making it to Sale in 4-5 hours and even more impressed with those people that don't train or ride very often making it most of the way or even all of the way!!!
Sharon asked Danielle and I to take some shots of the day and we definitely did! In the morning when Danielle was registering people I had too Canon 40d's around my neck and a digital camcorder in my hand as Dogga had to work and therefore couldn't film the day! So I was busy!

This year Dad and Aaron both rode, however they had a lot of mechanical problems. Aaron's front tyre tube had 3 punctures, the chain and gears fall off or something and then it wasn't fixed properly so it had to be fixed again and dad also had his actual tyre punctued. Which meant he had to get on 'the bus of shame' as he called it before the ride!! That happened 30km out of Taralgon so at the lunch break he was able to fix it and continue to ride to Sale. Aaron also made it all the way but claims he's not doing it next year!!

All in all it was a fun day but very tiring....even though I wasn't riding! So I'm sure everyone else is exhausted too!
